10000 Lakes Festival not happening in 2010

The 10000 Lakes Festival 2010 has been canceled, called off, stopped and terminated until further notice, to the shock of many fans.

One of the principal partners in the festival, Rose Presents, announced that the 10000 Lakes Festival, or 10KLF, would be on official hiatus until further notice because it “could not grow to financial success.”

10KLF has been going on for seven years and has attracted many bands, like the Dave Matthews Band, and a ton of fans. Comments posted on the festival’s official Facebook page are overwhelmingly sad and disappointed.

“I am completely going to be lost this summer! I traveled 10 hours every year, and i had such an incredible time! EPIC even! Please don’t go!” Posted one fan.

Another writes: “I loved 10KLF. I was going to come back EVERY YEAR, make it an annual tradition with my awesome friends.”

The last 10KLF was held at the Soo Pass Ranch in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota between July 22-25. There were a total of about 60 acts split up on four stages. The campground spanned 500 acres of camping spots, lakes and forests.
